There are many option and software is available which is increases our security system and many anti-theft software also available to increase our system security. But we will know about increasing speed, security and performance without any other software and without any other resources. In windows, there are many option and utility software already inbuilted when they are manufactured like windows defender, disk clean up utility and defragmentation. If we become up to date our system and defender then it helps us and our system to increase Computer speed, security and performance.

Windows Defender is antispyware software that's included with Windows and runs automatically when it's turned on. Using defender (antispyware software) can help protect our computer against viruses, spyware and other potentially unwanted software and malware. Spyware malware can be installed on your computer without your knowledge any time you connect to the Internet, and it can infect your computer when you install some programs using a CD, DVD, or other removable media. Spyware can also be programmed to run at unexpected times, not just when it's installed.

Windows Defender offers two ways to help keep spyware from infecting your computer:

Real-time protection.‍‍ Windows Defender alerts you when spyware attempts to install itself or to run on your computer. It also alerts you when programs attempt to change important Windows settings.

 You can use Windows Defender to scan for spyware that might be installed on your computer, to schedule scans on a regular basis, and to automatically remove anything that's detected during a scan.

When you use Windows Defender, it's important to have up-to-date definitions. Definitions are files that act like an ever-growing encyclopedia of potential software threats. Windows Defender uses definitions to alert you to potential risks if it determines that software detected is spyware or other potentially unwanted software. To help keep your definitions up to date, Windows Defender works with Windows Update to automatically install new definitions as they're released. You can also set Windows Defender to check online for updated definitions before scanning. Disk cleanup

To free up space in your internal hard disk, Disk Cleanup can help to free up hard disk space. When we run this utility then it detects and then removes temporary files on your computer that you do not want to keep in future.

If you have one or more drive or partitions in your computer, you can choose which drive you want Disk Cleanup to clean.

How to open disk clean up utility

There are many ways to open and run Disk clean up utility.Open your windows explorer and choose your drive or partition in which you want to  run to clean and then right click in the drive and choose property then property window will open and then click diskclean up

Another way to open Disk Cleanup: Click the Start button and type disk cleanup in the search bar, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup. And it asks to select drive. Select drive and click Ok button.

And then you will see disk clean up window and wait for some time it scan temporary file and dump files then check all the boxes and click ok button and click again in delete file button.

Defragmenter

This option is manage your hard disk drive. You can make any disk or drive fragmented. Fragmentation makes your hard disk do extra work that can slow down your computer. Removable storage devices like USB flash drives can also become fragmented. Disk Defragmenter rearranges fragmented data so your disks and drives can work more efficiently. Disk Defragmenter runs on a schedule, but you can also analyze and defragment your disks and drives manually. To do this, follow these steps:

How to open defragmentation option

There are many ways to open disk defragmenter
First of all open your windows explorer and click in which drive you want to defragment and right click in drive and choose properties then a properties windows will open and upper side of window. There are many tabs click on the Tools tab and click  Defragment now button. Then a Disk Defragmenter window open and again click your drive and click Analyze disk.
Once Windows is finished analyzing the disk, you can check the percentage of fragmentation on the disk in the Last Run column. If the number is above 10%, you should defragment the disk. Click Defragment disk.

Disk Defragmenter might take from several minutes to a few hours to finish, depending on the size of your hard disk. You can still use your computer during the defragmentation process.
